Did you know that the average baby costs their parents R15 000 in nappies and these nappies take over 200 years to decompose? I was horrified at the thought of my baby’s future poopy legacy and began playing with the idea of making my own cloth nappies.
What started as a personal ‘love project’ has expanded to include not only nappies, but soft toys, bibs and dummy clips… and possibly a clothing range too in the not so distant future. We love natural fabrics like cotton and linen, which we believe is important in allowing Baby’s skin to breathe in the African summers. And how fun and proudly South African is the Shweshwe print?
